1. Real-World Meetups: Brew is a software platform facilitating introductions and community activity discovery. We do NOT conduct criminal background checks, screen individuals, employ participants, or supervise in-person meetups. You assume 100% full personal responsibility and risk for all offline interactions.
2. AI Recommendations: Concierge suggestions, travel durations, and itineraries are generated by experimental AI models and are for informational purposes only.
3. Third Parties: Rideshare, dining, travel insurance, and map services are provided by independent third parties under their own separate terms.
By creating an account, browsing the discovery radar, joining group activities, or utilizing any feature of Brew, you agree to these Terms of Service, our Privacy Policy, and any community safety guidelines published within the app.
You must be at least eighteen (18) years of age (or the age of legal majority in your jurisdiction) to access or use Brew. Brew is strictly prohibited for minors. By using the Service, you represent and warrant that you are 18 or older and possess the legal capacity to enter into a binding contract. If we discover or have reason to suspect that an account belongs to a minor under 18, we will immediately and permanently terminate the account and purge associated data without prior notice.
Brew acts solely as an automated, passive technical conduit to connect individuals interested in coffee conversations, shared hobbies, and local community activities. We do not organize, direct, manage, host, sponsor, endorse, or supervise any in-person meetings, events, venues, or conversations.
You acknowledge and understand that the Developer does NOT perform criminal background checks, verify personal history, inspect identity records, evaluate mental health, or authenticate the character of any user. Optional in-app badges (such as "Identity Verified") confirm only that an ephemeral selfie matched profile photo placement via automated computer vision; they do not verify identity documents, background, or personal safety.
YOU EXPRESSLY AND VOLUNTARILY ASSUME ALL RISKS associated with using the Service and interacting with other users, including but not limited to all risks of in-person communication, physical meetups, travel to/from venues, dining, outdoor activities, personal injury, illness, property loss, emotional distress, or damage caused by other users or third parties. You agree to exercise caution, common sense, and personal discretion in all interactions.

Brew includes an AI-powered Activity Concierge and planning assistant powered by automated machine learning models (including Google Gemini) and local routing algorithms. All generated suggestions—including but not limited to meeting itineraries, budget estimates, venue recommendations, conversation icebreakers, travel times, and cultural etiquette tips—are provided STRICTLY FOR INFORMATIONAL AND ENTERTAINMENT PURPOSES ONLY.
AI models can make errors, generate "hallucinations," or reference outdated information. The Developer makes NO REPRESENTATION OR WARRANTY regarding the accuracy, completeness, real-time availability, price stability, safety, suitability, or opening hours of any venue, cafe, event, or transit route recommended by the AI. You are solely responsible for independently verifying all venue details, opening hours, pricing, dress codes, and booking availability prior to travel.
No content generated by the AI Concierge, translation engines, or travel utility modules constitutes legal, medical, travel advisement, immigration, or professional advice. Always consult certified professionals and official government travel advisories for authoritative guidance.
Brew provides integrated 1-tap action cards and web deep links to external third-party services, including but not limited to:
These third-party platforms are entirely independent entities. The Developer does not operate, control, endorse, monitor, or assume any responsibility for the actions, drivers, food preparation, pricing surges, booking cancellations, service reliability, customer service, insurance claims, or privacy practices of these third parties. Your engagement with any third-party service is governed exclusively by their respective terms of service and privacy policies.

The Developer reserves the absolute, discretionary right to review safety reports, investigate complaints, remove user-generated content, and immediately suspend or permanently ban any user account that violates these Terms or threatens the safety of the community, with or without prior notice and without liability or refund.
One-to-one direct messages are protected by client-side End-to-End Encryption (ECDH / AES-256-GCM). The Developer cannot read or recover your encrypted direct messages. You are solely responsible for safeguarding your device and remembering your private key recovery password. If you lose your recovery password and switch devices, your historical encrypted messages cannot be recovered by the Developer.
Activity group chats and public meetup boards do NOT utilize End-to-End Encryption. Never post sensitive personal, financial, residential, or private information in public activity chats.
Brew offers optional in-app supporter tipping tiers (e.g., Espresso, Coffee & Croissant, Roaster Supporter) processed through the Google Play Store In-App Billing System or Apple App Store In-App Purchases (StoreKit). All tips and donations are 100% VOLUNTARY GIFTS intended to support the ongoing development, hosting, and maintenance of Brew.
Supporter tips do not convey any financial return, ownership interest, equity, special moderation exemptions, or commercial service warranties. Tipping does not exempt any user from compliance with community standards or prevent account termination upon policy violation.
All in-app purchases and voluntary donations are final and non-refundable to the fullest extent permitted by applicable law. Any formal refund inquiries are handled strictly subject to the standard refund policies and procedures of the Google Play Store or Apple App Store, respectively.
The offline emergency hotline directory in Travel Utilities is compiled from international reference databases for general convenience. IT IS NOT AN EMERGENCY DISPATCH SERVICE OR AUTOMATIC DIALER. TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY APPLICABLE LAW, THE SERVICE, APPLICATION, CONTENT, AI OUTPUTS, AND ALL ASSOCIATED FEATURES ARE PROVIDED ON AN "AS IS" AND "AS AVAILABLE" BASIS, WITHOUT WARRANTIES OF ANY KIND, EITHER EXPRESS, IMPLIED, STATUTORY, OR OTHERWISE.
THE DEVELOPER EXPRESSLY DISCLAIMS ALL WARRANTIES, INCLUDING BUT NOT LIMITED TO IMPLIED WARRANTIES OF MERCHANTABILITY, FITNESS FOR A PARTICULAR PURPOSE, TITLE, QUIET ENJOYMENT, ACCURACY, NON-INFRINGEMENT, AND ANY WARRANTIES ARISING OUT OF COURSE OF DEALING OR USAGE OF TRADE. THE DEVELOPER DOES NOT WARRANT THAT THE SERVICE WILL BE UNINTERRUPTED, SECURE, ACCURATE, VIRUS-FREE, OR ERROR-FREE, OR THAT ANY DEFECTS WILL BE CORRECTED.
TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED UNDER APPLICABLE LAW (INCLUDING THE AUSTRALIAN CONSUMER LAW, U.S. FEDERAL AND STATE LAWS, AND THE INDIAN INFORMATION TECHNOLOGY ACT), IN NO EVENT SHALL THE DEVELOPER, OPERATORS, CREATORS, LICENSORS, OR AFFILIATES BE LIABLE FOR ANY INDIRECT, INCIDENTAL, SPECIAL, CONSEQUENTIAL, PUNITIVE, OR EXEMPLARY DAMAGES WHATSOEVER, INCLUDING BUT NOT LIMITED TO DAMAGES FOR PERSONAL INJURY, WRONGFUL DEATH, EMOTIONAL DISTRESS, PAIN AND SUFFERING, LOSS OF PROFITS, LOSS OF DATA, LOSS OF GOODWILL, SERVICE INTERRUPTION, COMPUTER DAMAGE, SYSTEM FAILURE, OR ANY DAMAGES RESULTING FROM:

THE LIMITATIONS OF DAMAGES SET FORTH ABOVE ARE FUNDAMENTAL ELEMENTS OF THE BASIS OF THE BARGAIN BETWEEN THE DEVELOPER AND YOU.
You agree to defend, indemnify, and hold harmless the Developer, creators, operators, contributors, and service providers from and against any and all claims, liabilities, damages, judgments, awards, losses, costs, expenses, or fees (including reasonable legal and attorney fees) arising out of or relating to:

These Terms shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the State of New South Wales, Australia, without regard to its conflict of law principles. To the extent legal proceedings are permitted, you agree to submit to the exclusive jurisdiction of the state and federal courts located in Sydney, New South Wales, Australia.
TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY APPLICABLE LAW, YOU AND THE DEVELOPER AGREE THAT ANY PROCEEDINGS TO RESOLVE DISPUTES WILL BE CONDUCTED SOLELY ON AN INDIVIDUAL BASIS AND NOT IN A CLASS, CONSOLIDATED, OR REPRESENTATIVE ACTION. YOU EXPRESSLY WAIVE ANY RIGHT TO A JURY TRIAL OR TO PARTICIPATE AS A PLAINTIFF OR CLASS MEMBER IN ANY PURPORTED CLASS ACTION OR REPRESENTATIVE PROCEEDING.
If any provision of these Terms is held to be invalid, illegal, or unenforceable by a court of competent jurisdiction, that provision shall be enforced to the maximum extent permissible, and the remaining provisions of these Terms shall remain in full force and effect. These Terms constitute the entire agreement between you and the Developer concerning the Service and supersede all prior agreements, oral or written.
